Fabrication
Mackellar Sub Sea Ltd reputation is second to none in
the manufacture of sub sea structures.
Our experienced and qualified workforce are coded
in a variety of metals and alloys including high
specification carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
Qualified welding processes include
· SMAW
· FCAW
· SAW
· GTAW
We employ an in-house CSWIP qualified welding
inspector to ensure weld quality.
Our reputation is based on our ability to fabricate to tight
tolerances and we dimensionally survey all tacked parts
both before and after welding to ensure their dimensional
tolerances and we have successfully completed contracts
to tight schedules for primary secondary and tertiary
steelwork.
Quality Audits are regularly carried out by third
party and client inspectors.
In addition to workshop based contracts Mackellars also
carry out site works throughout the UK and have
successfully finally assembled wellhead protection
structures in excess of 80 tonnes including drop leg and
Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Integration Tests.
