Facilities
Mackellar Sub Sea operate from two locations in
Grantown on Spey and quayside Aberdeen and our
expertise in a wide range of engineering and fabrication
projects is recognised throughout the Oil and Gas Industry.
We are fortunate to have a highly qualified and motivated
workforce on both the shop floor and technical/professional
roles.
In house engineering is fully equipped with the latest
hardware and software for AutoCad, 2D, 3D modelling
and finite stress analysis. The facility is equipped with
ADSL for efficient communication.
Facilities - Grantown
Grantown is both our manufacturing and administrative
headquarters and we are situated on Strathspey
Industrial Estate.
We occupy a purpose built 4 acres site with separate
fabrication, machining workshops, stores and yardage.

The offices accommodate our MRPII, Quality, Production
Engineering, Draughting, Accounting and Administrative
functions. In addition we can accommodate client
representatives and inspectors during the course
of a contract.
Our fabrication and machining facilities are served with
heavy internal cranage and forklifts.

All production is scheduled using E-Max MRPII system
to ensure consistent delivery and optimum machine
utilisation.
